Addiction Recovery Support Center Opens In Newburgh

The state Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services recently announced a new center created to provide support for individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction disorder and their families, is open in the City of Newburgh. The new center is called Onward Recovery.

Onward Recovery offers peer support, information on treatment and addiction, and recovery group sessions. Other services include: help with education and employment, health and wellness activities, and recreational activities. Independent Living Inc. was awarded $350,000 a year for five years to operate the new center.
