Optum’s MedExpress & Walgreens Team Up On Urgent Care
Optum company MedExpress and Walgreen Boots Alliance recently announced they will be collaborating to launch a number of urgent care centers. Some centers – which are attached to Walgreens stores – have already opened, and are located throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Dallas, the Twin Cities and Omaha, Nebraska.
The partnerships comes in the wake of CVS Health offering $69 billion to purchase Aenta, one of the nation’s largest health insurance companies.
