Among Others, Former CMS Head Named To Board Of Directors At New ACO Institute
The new Institute for Accountable Care recently announced a Board of Directors. The National Association of Accountable Care Organizations (NAACOS) has formed a new institution to access and build on evidence regarding how the shift to value-based care will impact the health care ecosystem.
The newly-formed institute will be led by industry experts, including Robert A. Berenson, MD, a former vice chair of the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, and Mark McClellan, MD, PhD, a former administrator for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The institute lists 4 areas of focus:
