North Dakota DHS Free Through Recovery Program Guidance

In this document released on September 26, 2017, the North Dakota Department of Human Services provided guidance about its Free Through Recovery program. The program links reimbursement for addiction treatment to consumer outcomes. The program provides community-based addiction treatment for people released from incarceration. Provider organizations may be eligible for an additional 20% payment per individual, if that individual meets at least three of the four identified outcomes: stable housing, stable employment, recovery, and/or reduced criminal justice involvement . . .
