SAMHSA Changing How The Agency Evaluates Evidence-Based Programs

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recently announced that it will be shutting down its evidence-based practices (EBPs) database, the National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (NREPP). For the last 20 years, the database has served as a resource for provider organizations looking for federally-approved evidence-based treatments for mental health and addiction disorders.
