Staten Island Gets Funding For New Addiction Disorder Treatment Center For Women

Staten Island’s first ever residential treatment facility for women battling addiction disorder is on the way. Plans for the $750,000 25-bed facility were recently announced by Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul.

The New York Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) will be funding the operations of the facility, which is expected to open sometime within the next two to three years.
