New York Attorney General Settlement With Allure Group
The settlement was released on November 27, 2017, by the New York Office of the Attorney General. The AG's office and the Department of Health had investigated circumstances of the transactions related to the closure of the two skilled nursing facilities owned by Allure Group. The state determined that the disposition and encumbrance of the real property raised public interest concerns. The settlement requires Allure Group to make major improvements to Greater Harlem Nursing Home, open new facilities in Brooklyn and the Lower East Side, and pay an additional $1.25 million for lower East Side non-profit provider . . .
