UPMC WorkPartners Acquires HCMS Group, LLC

UPMC WorkPartners, a provider of integrated health and productivity solutions, recently announced that it will acquire HCMS Group, LLC (HCMS), a privately held information service company. The acquisition of HCMS will strengthen WorkPartner’s portfolio.

WorkPartner’s product portfolio includes tailored health management, wellness offerings, employee assistance programs, workers’ compensation coverage, employee health services, short-term disability management, FMLA programs, benefit administration services. HCMS offers data analytics platforms, employer-centric business intelligence engines, and targeted telephonic clinical intervention programs. The acquisition will combine health analytics with individualized clinical prevention services to lower cost for customers.
