UPMC, Highmark Dissolving Their Join Ventures In Erie County
UPMC and Highmark Health’s (Highmark) are ending their business arrangements in Erie County, Pennsylvania, relating to the Regional Cancer Center, which is jointly owned by the two entities. UPMC leadership has stated that the two hospitals which jointly owned and operated the center—St. Vincent Hospital and Hamot Hospital—will move forward independently to form their own cancer centers.
