McLaren Health Care To Acquire MDwise

Michigan-based McLaren Health Care is expanding its reach into Indiana by acquiring MDwise. The acquisition is expected to be complete by December 31st.

MDwise generates more than $1.5 billion in revenue and when the purchase is finalized the health system’s projected annual revenue is to exceed $6 billion. MDwise has more than 360,000 enrollees through Indiana, which will then bring McLaren’s total to exceed 620,000, when the deal is complete. The growth of McLaren’s health plan allows the system to share data and best practices to benefit consumers and provider organizations.
