West Virginia State Treasurer Launches WVABLE Disabilities Program
John Perdue, the West Virginia State Treasurer, recently announced the launch of the West Virginia Achieving a Better Life Experience program, or WVABLE. The program will provide individuals with disabilities opportunities to save and invest without the risk of losing their needs-based public benefits.
One of the main focuses of the program is to empower individuals with disabilities with more independence, as well as the ability to plan for their own financial future.
