Cleveland Foundation Approves $800,000 Grant For Anti-Violence Agency Cleveland Peacemakers Alliance
The Cleveland Foundation recently approved an $800,000 grant for the anti-violence agency Cleveland Peacemakers Alliance. The Cleveland Peacemakers Alliance works to suppress violence in the city’s most dangerous neighborhoods by working with gang members to peacefully resolve disputes, as well as by mentoring at-risk teenagers and young adults.
The funds brings the total of the Cleveland Foundation’s donations to the alliance to over $3 million since 2013. The Cleveland Foundation hopes that such steps will lead to a city where youth feel more safe and free to pursue life opportunities that are available to them . . .
