Kevin Sowers Named President Of Johns Hopkins Health System, Executive Vice President Of Johns Hopkins Medicine

Kevin Sowers, MSN, RN, FAAN, was recently named as the new president of Johns Hopkins Health System, as well as executive vice president of Johns Hopkins Medicine. He will begin his new appointment on February 1, 2018.

Dr. Sowers brings over 32 years of experience working with Duke University Health System—where he served the last eight years as president and CEO of its hospital—to Johns Hopkins. Johns Hopkins Medicine leadership cited Dr. Sowers’ health center experience, ability to forge relationships, and ability for thriving in complex environments as primary reasons for his appointment.
