Governor Cuomo Announces Award of $10 Million In Capital Funding To Expand Addiction Withdrawal & Stabilization Services Statewide
New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently announced an award of $10 million for expanding addiction withdrawal and stabilization services throughout the state. The funding will be awarded to five provider organizations in the state for the development of 84 new community-based medically supervised withdrawal and stabilization services beds.
As part of this effort, the programs will offer 24/7 care to consumers suffering from addiction disorder, helping to connect them with longer-term treatment options once their condition has been stabilized.
