San Francisco Partnership Launches New Mental Health Center
The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and the city of San Francisco—along with three other partners—are collaborating to launch a new mental health center in the city. It is anticipated that the new center will begin serving consumers on March 12.
The new 54-bed facility, which will be located at St. Mary’s Medical Center, will be named the San Francisco Healing Center. The center will be a welcome addition for the city, as it will double the number of inpatient beds the county has for individuals who need care, but not UCSF’s acute care . . .
