Hospital To Become $10 Million Behavioral Health Center
The former campus of St. Joseph’s Hospital will be home to a new behavioral health facility by the end of the year. The $10 million project—Crossroads Behavioral Health—will offer services such as for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and elderly individuals with dementia in the Huntingburg, Indiana area. The individual driving the creation of the facility is Dr. Ijaz Mahmood, who has been surveying the community to get an idea as to what sort of services are needed.
