Emory Healthcare To Launch ACO, Bundled Payment Program With Walmart

Emory Healthcare and Walmart recently announced they are partnering to launch a new accountable care organization (ACO) for Walmart employees in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Additionally, they will create a bundled payment program for individuals needing spine and joint replacement surgeries.

ACOs seek to put more emphasis on quality of care and health comes, while also decreasing costs for consumers.
