InTouch Health Buys Reach Health, Bolstering Inpatient, Outpatient Telehealth Presence

Following its recent expanded partnership with Mercy Health, InTouch Health (InTouch) recently announced it is acquiring telemedicine platform Reach Health (Reach). Occurring on the same day was American Well’s purchase of telehealth company Avizia.

According to statements from InTouch officials, the company anticipates the acquisition will extend its footprint, as well as bolster its ability to assist provider organizations in rolling out telehealth programs. InTouch also believes that—through the acquisition—Reach users will benefit from improved support, reliability, security, and compliance. InTouch also acquired TruClinic earlier this year, which focuses on direct-to-consumer care.
