Texas Awards Millions For Community Mental Health
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) recently announced it is awarding up to $15 million in grant funds to 31 different Texas governmental entities and non-profit organizations. The funds will be used to provide mental health services to the communities they serve.
The funds come as part of HHSC’s Community Mental Health Grant Program, which was established by House Bill 13, and will award a total of $30 million in state funding from 2018-19.
