Northeast Ohio Medical University Receives $7.5 Million Grant For Mental Health Centers
Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) recently received a $7.5 million grant from Peg’s Foundation for the support of the three mental health centers within the university’s Department of Psychiatry. Those three centers include: the Best Practices in Schizophrenia Treatment Center, the Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health, and the Criminal Justice Center of Excellence.
Peg’s Foundation anticipates that the funding will help to increase early identification, best practice treatment, integrated care, and medication management across the state.
