Elements Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
Elements Behavioral Health recently announced it is filing chapter 11 bankruptcy, and is planning a restructuring of the company. Throughout the process, the organization will continue operating its clinical programs throughout eight states.
Included in the resulting asset sale transaction will be Elements’ 13 residential centers and 22 outpatient locations. According to statements from the organization, the aim of the bankruptcy filing is to access new capital, as opposed to ceasing operations. The decision to restructure follows Elements loosing $51.2 million on revenue of $129.6 million in 2017.
