Virginia House Bill 1307: Amending Zoning Provisions to Permit Temporary Family Health Care Structures
April 8, 2010 On July 1, 2110, a new law in Virginia went into effect to permit home owners to place special temporary family health care structures on their residential properties without prior approval of local zoning officials. The law was designed with the help of Ken Dupin, chief executive officer of N2Care, which manufactures MEDCottage, a portable high-tech individual rehabilitation facility fitted with digital health and safety monitoring devices.
