Capital BlueCross Launches New Virtual Care App & Expands Telehealth Access For Behavioral Health Services
Capital BlueCross recently announced the launch of a new virtual care app for the expansion of telehealth access for people in need of behavioral health services. Through the app—which is available in partnership with American Well—individuals can use their smartphone, computer, or tablet to visit clinical professionals.
The company has seen utilization of its telehealth services increase 33% over the past year, leading the company to decide to expand those services to include counseling and psychiatric services.
