Geisinger & AstraZeneca Create New Asthma App Suite

Pennsylvania-based health services organization Geisinger and AstraZeneca recently partnered to create a new suite of products for asthma treatment. The new products will integrate into the electronic health record (EHR), helping consumers and provider organizations to better manage the disease in between office visits.

The new app will connect data to a web-based application known as the Provider Asthma Management Assistant, which will combine EHR and consumer-reported data to speed up the triage process, as well as provide specialist help as needed.
