Bill Gates Invests In Alzheimer’s Diagnosis Test

Billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist Bill Gates recently invested $30 million in efforts to develop a diagnostic test for Alzheimer’s disease. The investment comes as part of a collaborative effort with numerous other philanthropists via the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation’s (ADDF) Diagnostic Accelerator.

The Diagnostic Accelerator is an effort by ADDF to utilize philanthropic and venture capital principals to help create more accurate Alzheimer’s diagnostic tests. Currently available tests for Alzheimer’s are expensive and invasive for consumers.
