Duluth Facility First In Minnesota To Offer Residential Psychiatric Treatment For Children
Duluth, Minnesota-based Northwood Children’s Services (Northwood) recently became the first facility in Minnesota to offer residential psychiatric treatment for children. The facility opened on June 18.
According to Northwood’s CEO, the organization plans to invest $1 million into the facility. By utilizing the psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) model, the new facility will allow children to live at Northwood while they receive treatment.
