North Carolina Session Law 2018-48 House Bill 403

The law was signed on June 22, 2018. It directs the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to implement the state's Medicaid redesign that will move most Medicaid beneficiaries to a managed care organization (MCO) that provides integrated physical and behavioral health services, plus pharmacy and some long-term care services and supports (LTSS). A subset of beneficiaries with intensive behavioral health needs or need for developmental disability services will be enrolled in Tailored BH- I/DD plans that provide a larger set of LTSS options . . .
