Riverhead, New York To Be Site Of 80-Bed, Multimillion Dollar Addiction Disorder Treatment Center

The Riverhead Town Board recently approved the construction of a Wellbridge addiction research and rehab facility to take place at the site of Enterprise Park at Calverton (EPCAL). The 134,000-square-foot facility will provide 80 beds for addiction disorder treatment.

The new facility will focus particularly on those struggling with opioid abuse, as well as on studying better treatments for addiction, and how addiction works. Construction—which has already begun—is anticipated to be completed by December 2019.
