Intermountain Centers For Human Development & Community Partners Inc. Consolidate
Two Tucson, Arizona-based behavioral health organizations—Intermountain Centers For Human Development (Intermountain) and Community Partners Inc.—recently consolidated their operations in an effort to survive upcoming payment cuts and Medicaid transformation in their state. Via the move, which officially took effect on August 31, Intermountain absorbed the assets and liabilities of Community Partners.
Specifically, the two organizations anticipate that the consolidation will help them to avoid reductions to reimbursements rates from Arizona’s Medicaid program, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). Additionally, Intermountain CEO Rose Lopez will also become the CEO of Community Partners.
