Maine LD 1923 – An Act To Improve The Child Welfare System

The proposed legislation was introduced on August 22, 2018, as part of a five-bill package sponsored by Maine Governor Le Page. It was signed on September 7, 2018. This bill will provide additional funding to enhance the child welfare system and services available to children in custody of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
