Salesforce Foundation Announces $18 Million Donation To Bay Area Causes
Salesforce.org, which serves as the non-profit arm of Salesforce, recently announced it will donate $18 million to Bay Area, California causes, such as education, cleanliness, and homelessness.
Broken up, the $18 million donation will be divided as follows:
$15.5 million for the San Francisco and Oakland Unified Schools District
$2 million for Hamilton Families, Larking Street Youth Services, and the San Francisco Food Bank
$500,000 for the San Francisco Park Alliance
To assist and serve even more, Salesforce will also be offering employees paid time to volunteer in the region.
