Unaccompanied Children: Agency Efforts To Reunify Children Separated From Parents At The Border
The report was released on October 24, 2018, by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The GAO examined the government's planning and reunification efforts for children in the Ms. L. v. ICE class. These children were removed from parents who entered the United States seeking asylum or refugee status. In June 2018, a court ordered that the children be reunited with their families.
