Ochsner Health, Walmart To Launch Accountable Care Plan In Louisiana

Walmart recently announced it is partnering with Ochsner Health System (Ochsner) to launch a new accountable care plan in Louisiana. Named the Ochsner Accountable Care Plan, the new health plan will be available to employees of Walmart and Sam’s Club in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge regions of Louisiana beginning in 2019.

The move makes Ochsner the 11th health system to partner with Walmart on creating accountable care plans, according to statements from Walmart leadership.
