June 24, 2010 The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) held a special Open Door Forum conference call on accountable care organizations (ACOs) as part of the Medicare Shared Savings Program. The Forum focused on the formation and use of ACOs, to enhance the quality and efficiency of physician services.
