Kaiser Permanente Invests In Housing Complex
Integrated managed care organization Kaiser Permanente (Kaiser) recently invested $5.2 million into an affordable housing complex in Oakland, California. The funding comes as the first of what the organization announced last year would total to $200 million in funding for initiatives aimed at battling housing insecurity and homelessness.
The Oakland-based facility will preserve 41 living units in an area where some residents may be at risk for displacement due to rising costs that result from regional redevelopment.
