The National Council On Severe Autism Launches

A new national organization—the National Council on Severe Autism (NCSA)—recently launched with its focus on severe autism. The nonprofit organization will concentrate on addressing the services, housing, and policy concerns often faced by individuals with autism and their families.

NCSA takes a view that media and online social media is often portrayed in a romanticized manner, displaying only the end of the autism spectrum with high functioning individuals.
