Perimeter Healthcare Acquires Lake Pines Hospital

Perimeter Healthcare (Perimeter) recently announced it is acquiring Kenner, Louisiana-based Lake Pines Hospital (Lake Pines). Included with the acquisition of the 36-bed behavioral health facility is the St.Theresa Hospital, which encompasses Lake Pines.

According to Perimeter president and CEO Rod Laughlin, Perimeter plans to add 40 to 45 beds to Lake Pines over the course of the next eight months, as well as provide several aesthetic enhancements to the facility. Additionally, the facility will be renamed to Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of New Orleans, as well as begin providing services to adult, geriatric, and adolescent health care consumers . . .
