Beacon Specialized Living Services Expands Into Minnesota With Acquisition Of Owakihi, Inc.

Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc. (Beacon) recently expanded into the state of Minnesota with its acquisition of Owakihi, Inc. (Owakihi). Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed at this time.

Beacon leadership has stated that it believes Owakihi’s delivery models, highly trained staff, and emphasis on person-centered planning will fuel its platform’s growth as it continues seeking ways to fill critical gaps in the health care system that lead to excessive utilization. Owakihi currently serves over 200 consumers across 14 sites throughout surrounding Minneapolis and Saint Paul counties.
