Humana & SurgCenter Development Announce National Agreement To Expand Availability Of Outpatient Joint Replacement At Surgery Centers

National ambulatory surgery center SurgCenter Development (SurgCenter) and Humana recently formed an agreement to expand the availability of outpatient joint replacement at SurgCenter surgery centers. The agreement, effective since February 1, operates by expanding Humana’s commercial and Medicare health plan to allow its members access to the surgery centers.

With the collaboration, 100 SurgCenter locations have been added to Humana’s national provider network, supporting total joint replacement for Humana members in an ambulatory surgery center setting.
