Vanderbilt University Medical Center To Acquire Tennova Healthcare- Lebanon From Community Health Systems

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) recently announced it will be acquiring Tennova Healthcare-Lebanon (Tennova). Terms of the transaction—which his expected to close during the third quarter of this year—have not been disclosed at this time.

Tennova is a 245-bed, two campus facility that is the sole provider of inpatient and outpatient medical services in Wilson County, Tennessee. As part of the purchase, VUMC has committed to hire essentially all Tennova employees who are in good standing at the completion of the acquisition.
