Massachusetts To Add 398 Treatment Beds For Addiction Disorder, Mental Health Disorders
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) recently announced it is contracting with 26 community-based treatment provider organizations in the greater Springfield, Massachusetts area to add 398 treatment beds for addiction and mental health disorders. The new beds will be part of efforts to open and expand new specialized residential rehabilitation treatment programs that serve dual-diagnosed individuals who are at a higher risk to experience opioid-related overdoses.
