Geisinger Launches “Beyond Alzheimer’s” Support Group For Dementia Caregivers
Geisinger Medical Center (Geisinger) recently launched a new support group for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. The move makes Geisinger one of only two health systems nationally to offer such a program.
The program, Beyond Alzheimer’s, was initially created by Patti Davis, daughter of former U.S. president Ronald Reagan.
