Parsons v. Ryan Order & Judgment Of Civil Contempt

On June 22, 2018, the United States District Court for the Department of Arizona issued this order and judgement of civil contempt in Parsons v. Ryan. The order states that the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) failed to comply with the settlement agreement provisions requiring it to provide adequate health care to ADC inmates. In February 2015, the court had approved a settlement in Parsons v. Ryan that mandated numerous changes, with progress to be measured by 103 performance measures. ADC made its contractor, Corizon Health, responsible for meeting all the performance measures . . .
