Empower Clinics Inc.(Empower) announced that it has closed the acquisition of Arizona-based Sun Valley Certification Clinics Holdings with an effective date of April 30, 2019. The transaction involved cash and share consideration of $3.8 million.

Empower operates a multi-state network of physician-staffed clinics that provide cannabis-related health care services. Its 40 monthly clinics in Washington, Oregon, and Illinois provide cannabis-related health care services to a combined consumer count of 165,000.
