West Virginia DHHR Agreement With The U.S. Department Of Justice To Improve Services For Children With Mental Health Conditions

On May 14, 2019, the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) released this agreement with the State of West Virginia. The agreement regards services, programs, and activities offered to children with serious mental conditions through the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The parties agreed that through mutual cooperation, efforts to reforming West Virginia's child welfare system and assuring that children can receive mental health services in their homes and communities is possible.
