Indian Health Service Awards Funding To Three Urban Indian Organizations
The Indian Health Service (IHS) Office of Urban Indian Health Programs has awarded grants to three urban Indian organizations. The awarded grants total approximately $978,561 and will be awarded to organizations in Arizona, Maryland, and Minnesota. The grants will be used to make health care services more accessible for American Indians and Alaska Natives residing in urban areas. The awards will also support operations at urban health care facilities. The urban Indian organizations receiving funding include Native American Connections, Native American Lifelines, and Indian Health Board of Minneapolis, Inc.
