Boys Totem Town Operations Suspended

Ramsey County’s Director of Community Corrections, John Klavins, announced that Boys Totem Town (BTT) suspended operations indefinitely as of August 1, 2019. In that time, the last of six youth at the residential treatment facility will have completed the program. 
Ramsey County has experienced declines and attributed this to ongoing system-wide efforts through the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) and related “Deep-End” reforms.
