Lehigh Regional Medical Center Developing New Mental Health Treatment Unit
A new expansion coming to Lehigh Regional Medical Center addresses a major need in southwest Florida for mental health treatment. The medical center is transforming the third floor to a 35-bed in-patient care unit for behavioral and mental health services. The facility will not treat long term consumers, but they will open as an in-patient care facility with a variety of therapies including art therapy, recreational therapy, and group therapy as well as electroconvulsive therapy. Â
