Special Terms and Conditions Imposed by CMS on the Bridges to Reform Program

November 2, 2010 In November 2010, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) announced the federal government had granted its 1115 Medicaid Waiver proposal, “Bridge to Reform.” In June 2011, the 14 counties that currently have Geographic Managed Care or Two-Plan managed care models will phase in mandatory Medi-Cal managed care enrollment for beneficiaries over the age of 65 and for beneficiaries with disabilities. Medi-Cal beneficiaries with disabilities in counties with County- Organized Health Systems are already enrolled in Medi-Cal managed care. Download the Report . . .
