November 4, 2010 Starting in July 2011, Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Department of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) will start changing the definition of community mental health care. This document describes the performance measures DMHA will apply for mental health and addiction treatment services provided by its contracted managed care providers. The performance measures are based on the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths assessment tool and the Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment tool as well as on recommendations from provider organizations.  Some of the performance measures have a baseline minimum performance level; failure to meet the baseline . . .
